Senior Business Development Manager – up to £50K + uncapped OTE – Home Based
A national IT and Software Reseller based in Newcastle upon Tyne are actively seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to support all new business activities across sales, account management and full sales lifecycle in a position that offers unparalleled growth in a profitable sector. This is an exciting role for an experienced IT Sales professional with a tremendous amount of career development.
Our client are an IT / Software Consultancy who offer a range of advanced technical solutions for firms of all sizes. Following a significantly profitable period, they are looking to invest in their sales department and are actively hiring a Senior Business Development Manager with a proven track record to enhance their client list and support the continued growth of this organisation.
On a day to day basis your role will include:
- Maintain and develop existing business through key account management
- Take responsibility for full sales lifecycle for allocated leads
- Develop partnerships with key suppliers
- Attend seminars and networking events
- Write / present proposals for new clients
- Create your own leads, following these up to win new business
In order to apply for this role, the successful Business Development Manager MUST have:
- A proven track record in a complex sales role, IT sector is preferred
- Demonstrable experience forging and building new relationships
- Ability to present to new clients in a professional manner
- Commercial experience in a B2B / Business to Business sales environment
- A full drivers license and your own car (expenses are paid)
This is a home based role, so you can be based anywhere in the country however you should expect to spend 25%-50% of your time on the road, including visits to corporate HQ in Newcastle upon Tyne.
