Business Development Manager – London – £80K
An international Customer Analytics Consultancy based in the heart of London are actively seeking a Business Development Manager who will focus on new business sales and drive ambitious targets for this firm for years to come. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with a strong sales background, ideally from the Analytics space, to become a future leader of this business.
Our Analytics Consultancy have been operating for nearly two decades, and have a reputation for building exceptional solutions with FTSE 250 clients. Additionally, despite being a boutique Analytics and Business Intelligence firm, regularly compete with and outperform some of the largest Professional Services and Consultancy businesses in the world.
The requirement for a Business Development Manager has been organically created due to ambitious targets in the coming years. Despite a small but successful existing sales team, there is a need for an Analytics minded Sales professional to drive growth and work alongside the MD and technical teams.
On an ongoing basis, the responsibilities of the BDM will include:
- Targeting a range of accounts in the Analytics space, across various verticals
- Head up and implement all new business strategies
- Help build proposals with Head of Analytics and other senior stakeholders
- Lead from the front, winning new projects
- Have a hand in future growth strategy
In order to apply for this role, the successful Business Development Manager must have:
- A reputable sales background, winning deals ranging from £50K to £3million (+/-)
- Experience in the Analytics / Business Intelligence industry
- Demonstrable experience succeeding in a sales environment from a ‘cold start’
- Any Sales Team Management or Leadership is beneficial but not essential
With expectations of quadrupling turnover in the next four years, there will be a great amount of motivation to succeed in this role. By way of rewards, the successful Business Development Manager should expect to receive not only a more than competitive basic salary, but also earn somewhere between £140K and £160K OTE in their first year (even higher in year 2 onwards).
This role demands an experienced Analytics Sales professional with a drive not only financially but with a view to adding tangible value to a business that is going through an unprecedented period of growth.
Finally, working out of a luxury London office you must be based in / around the Greater London district, with the ability to travel to office or local clients regularly.
